It's like reading the last page of a book before you start it

Here's the thing:

I LOVE project runway. especially as more people get kicked off and the gays get increasingly catty. I can't help it, i just love it.
[note: this season's favorite: Christian - he's just a little guy but he's good at what he does]

So, watching the new episode last evening with S. and J. while they painted and I wrote a[nother] paper about animal cognition, Heidi Klum announced the winning designer gets to sell their line on Bluefly.com. As it were, I put the "pro" in "procrastination" so I ventured out to bluefly.com to find on the opening page not only ads for projects runway, but also that in the list of designers on the left sidebar is "SweetPea"

WTF? [for those that don't know, Sweet P is a contestant on project runway]

Are the producers really that clueless to have the designer's name on the site before the season is even halfway over??
Giving them the benefit of the doubt, I like to think that there's a difference between designer "SweetPea" and "Sweet P" from the show, or that the name is on Bluefly.com as a distractor.

Michael Renner's Revenge

Fall Brawl '07 @ Radford: not so much a success. I pretty much played no where near the level i like to think i usually do. However, i had much more success sittin gin front of computers in the library: i pounded out 2 powerpoints for presentations this week.
The first is to take place this evening and will be about evolutionary psychology and animal cognition. as a sneak preview my google searches on the topic included "llama AND use" and "parrot AND eulogy". i swear what i do is real academic stuff.

in honor if dr. hall, i have several planned "side stories" including youtube videos, and i plan to bring in a "relevant" book that will be on the test: "why do men have nipples?"
since the presentation, as i found, is actually not graded, i'm sure it'll be a great time. i haven't decided yet if i'm going to attempt to use keynote (purely for the advantage of using the macbook remote) or if i'll just run it off the pc there.

It's Winter

I know it's been a shameful long time since a post, but basically I got lazy. And i got intimidated by my commitment to post every day with a picture. So i'm trying to pick it back up, if slightly less frequently than every day.

Last weekend was a day tournament at JMU and the first time i saw frost on the ground in the morning. By the way, we lost both games, but i was dressed as a ninja turtle (the blue one) so, it was kind of OK.
This weekend: home tournament (2 days). The goal is to get some "sweet pics" of frisbee action without any digital cameras freezing.
